Comedian Launches 'National Hang-Up Week'

Tom Mabe, the comedian whose satiric album "Revenge on the Telemarketers, Round One" taunted the teleservices industry last year, is organizing a National Hang-Up Week in conjunction with his second album release.

Mabe is encouraging consumers to hang up on all telemarketing calls during the third week of January. According to Virgin Records Nashville, the comedian is organizing a group known as the People's Effort to Stop Telemarketing, or PEST.

His new record, "Revenge on the Telemarketers, Round Two," is in distribution.
