Comdata Buys Datamark Technologies

Comdata Corp., Brentwood, TN, a transaction and payment services provider, along with its subsidiary, Stored Value Systems Inc., announced yesterday the acquisition of Datamark Technologies, a provider of stored value and customer loyalty programs.


Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.


Datamark, Princeton, NJ, is privately owned and provides turnkey stored value solutions to 200 clients in the retail, hospitality, oil and gas, travel and telecommunication industries throughout North America.


SVS, Louisville, KY, which has almost 200 employees, serves 200 retail clients with gift card solutions, including transaction processing, loyalty programs as well as card production and management. Clients include Lowe's, Hollywood Video, Linens 'n Things and Costco.
