Collegiate Pacific Scores 105% Rise for Week

Collegiate Pacific said yesterday that incoming orders generated from its primary catalog during the week that ended Oct. 19 resulted in a 105 percent increase compared with results reported during the third week of October last year.

"The 105 percent increase in orders represents one of the largest such increases ever recorded by the company," CEO Michael Blumenfeld said. "The average invoice value of the orders received exceeded $500, which we believe is 40 percent higher than the industry average."

Collegiate Pacific is a manufacturer and supplier of sports equipment primarily to the team dealer and institutional markets. It offers more than 3,000 products and has more than 35,000 active accounts.

The Dallas-based company produces two issues of its 150-page catalog each year and has an annual circulation of 1.1 million sent to 150,000 institutions nationwide, including parks departments, summer camps, city and school agencies, boys clubs and YMCAs.
