Coastal Direct Marketing founder Victor Feuerman dies at 56

Victor J. Feuerman, founder and president of Coastal Direct Marketing Inc., passed away last month of a heart attack at the age of 56. Feuerman was in the direct response business for more than 30 years. He began his career with Standard Rate and Data Service, eventually becoming national collateral media manager. In the 1980s, Feuerman co-founded Advanced Management Systems Inc., a list management and brokerage firm. In 1990, he founded Coastal Direct Marketing, also a list management and brokerage firm with offices in Los Angeles and New York. In addition to his involvement in direct response, Feuerman was past president and board member for various nonprofit and community projects. He was also active in raising needed funds for Herzl Temple in Los Angeles. Mr. Feuerman, is survived by his two sons, Thomas and William.
