Co-Op Mailing Targets Affluent Families in CA

Family Values, a division of Polk Communications, Los Angeles, will launch an upscale cooperative mailing program Aug. 25 targeting homeowners with children.

Family Values was formed to serve the fast-growing but often overlooked young children's sector. By targeting homeowners, the program hopes to reach older parents with established careers and high incomes that are concerned with their child's development. Family Values purchased a compiled list from Metromail, Lombard, IL, with selections to reach 50,000 homes on the first mailing.

The co-op already has signed up clients engaged in childcare, children's clothing, private education, life insurance, frozen prepared foods and Castle Earth Children's Museum. The initial mailing will encompass the Southern California market with plans for expansion into adjacent regions.
