CNN Sells News Over Japanese Wireless Network

CNN will provide news and information to NTT DoCoMo, Japan's largest mobile phone company, the cable network said Monday.


CNN will provide breaking news in English or Japanese to subscribers of DoCoMo's i-mode network.


Users will be able to view CNN headlines for free on their wireless devices, but they will be charged $2.83 to download an entire article. Charges will be billed to customers' wireless accounts.
