Sears.com has significantly expanded its offerings across several categories, including prints and frames, music, books and software. As a result, Sears.com has nearly quadrupled the number of products available on the site.
 

Jockey bares all in first catalog

With green marketing on the rise, Jockey mailed its first catalog this month - in a resource-friendly format. Its 44-page slim jim catalog is printed on recycled paper and uses environmentally-sound inks. The piece arrived in homes the week of May 5 showcasing the underwear brand's wide selection of products, styles and colors.
 

Sharper Image has approval to sell

The Sharper Image Corp. has received approval from US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware to sell itself at a bankruptcy auction later this month. A joint venture between Hilco Consumer Capital and GB Brands said that it was approved as the stalking horse bidder.
 

Customers' satisfied with top Internet retailers

Customer satisfaction with the top 100 Internet retailers is up 1.4% from last year, according to the latest report from ForeSee Results. Using the University of Michigan's American Customer Satisfaction Index, ForeSee measured customer satisfaction levels among the top 100 Internet retailers, as determined by Internet Retailer magazine, and found that even as the economy is in an overall pinch, e-commerce retailers delivered an aggregate score of 75.
 

HarperCollins to discontinue paper catalog

HarperCollins Publishers will launch a beta version of an interactive, electronic sales catalog later this year that will ultimately replace its paper catalog.

Target Corp. said it would sell an interest in its credit card receivables to JPMorgan Chase for proceeds of approximately $3.6 billion. The transaction is expected to provide Target with sufficient liquidity to implement its business plans without the need to access term debt capital this year.
