CMG to Acquire Web Firm On-Demand Solutions

Internet direct marketing firm CMG Information Services Inc. announced this week that it will acquire e-commerce fulfillment company On-Demand Solutions.


On-Demand offers turnkey "Web-to-warehouse-to-consumer" e-commerce fulfillment that is designed to integrate into existing back-end systems. According to CMG president and CEO David Wetherell, CMG expects the fulfillment segment of its business to "meet or exceed $100 million" in revenue next fiscal year as a result of the On-Demand acquisition.


Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. CMG, Andover, MA, valued the agreement at about $7 million.
