CMA Elects New Board of Directors

The Canadian Marketing Association announced yesterday that it elected its new Board of Directors at the Association's annual meeting this week in Montreal.

Richard McLaughlin was elected chair of the Board. Mr. McLaughlin has more than 25 years of senior marketing experience in packaged goods, retail and the financial services sector.

As vice chair, the CMA elected James McPhedran, managing director and head of the wealth management products and services Group at Scotiabank.

New members elected to the Board are: Robert Bruce, president, Rogers Wireless Inc., Greg McKenzie, president of the PostLinx division of Pitney Bowes and Wendy Muller, h ead of Canada sales and operations , Google Inc.

The Canadian Marketing Association represents a diverse group of organizations involved in both consumer and business-to-business marketing. Its 800 corporate members include Canada's major financial institutions, insurance companies, publishers, retailers, charitable organizations and advertising agencies and the major suppliers of marketing services.
