ClickRewards Drives Online Shoppers

Online affinity marketer, Netcentives, San Francisco, announced that members of its shopping network, ClickRewards, spent an average of $367 at its participating sites during December. Netcentives said ClickRewards drove more than $50 million in retail sales during the month.


More than two dozen companies took part in the ClickRewards program during the holiday season, including barnesandnoble.com, First Auction, Music Boulevard and Preview Travel. They each offered online consumers ClickMiles -- redeemable one-for-one for frequent flyer miles or brand name merchandise. Netcentives is expects to add 30 new online merchants in e-commerce categories during the first quarter of this year.
