ClickRadio Gains Access to BMG Library

ClickRadio, New York, yesterday received an interactive radio license from BMG Entertainment.

The Internet digital radio service's license covers the entire BMG Entertainment catalog, which includes RCA Label Group Nashville and the Windham Hill Group labels.

ClickRadio, which is set to launch this month, allows listeners to choose what songs they want to hear and how frequently they would like to hear them. Users can listen both online and offline.

Rather than streaming songs to listeners, ClickRadio downloads the tracks, including artist information, related Web sites and other information, onto a cache on the user's hard drive. Each time a listener logs on, more songs are downloaded.
