ClickAction Teams With BEA to Bundle Marketing Solution

ClickAction is expected to announce today an agreement with BEA Systems to bundle its software program with BEA's e-commerce platform applications.

The deal calls for ClickAction's Email Marketing Automation software to be integrated with BEA's e-commerce application servers, which include the software provider's Campaign Manager for WebLogic, its WebLogic Commerce Server and its Personalization Server.

BEA, San Jose, CA, has approximately 500 salespeople and more than 2,000 active clients. The bundled software will be available later this year as a free download with BEA's applications.

"The power of this deal for e-marketers is that the different applications are all integrated into one e-commerce/e-marketing application that runs seamlessly," said Gregory Slayton, president/CEO of ClickAction, Palo Alto, CA. "It can help marketers design, automate, analyze and deliver personalized e-mail marketing -- both inbound and outbound -- so that they can understand exactly what's going on with their campaigns."
