ClickAction Reports 4Q Revenue

ClickAction Inc., Palo Alto, CA, a provider of e-mail campaign management services, reported fourth-quarter revenue of $6.8 million for the quarter ended Dec. 31, an increase of 31% from $5.2 million for the previous quarter and an increase of 45% from $4.7 million for the comparable quarter a year ago.


The company said that e-mail marketing revenue tripled over third-quarter 1999 and that strong growth of the company's desktop marketing products contributed to the increase in revenue.


For the year ended Dec. 31, the company reported annual revenue of $21.3 million, an increase of 41% from $15 million in 1998. The company reported a consolidated net loss of $2.2 million, compared with a consolidated net income of $220,000 in 1998.
