ClearSaleing names Ari Osur General Manager

Former Forrester Research principal analyst of interactive marketing Ari Osur has been hired as general manager of ClearSaleing, an advertising analytics and attribution platform and subsidiary of eBay company GSI Commerce, Osur says.

He adds that his responsibilities will include managing the business with particular focus on client services, sales marketing and products operations.

Osur reports to John Healy, president of GSI Marketing Services Products, and oversees about 50 people.

“When I was at Forrester, I spent a long time talking in the marketplace about digital marketing and attribution," Osur says. "We can use this perspective to address where marketers are currently undeserved by attribution and analytics, and how can we add all of this to meet our needs from a products perspective.”

Besides Forrester, Osur also worked as the relationship marketing leader for the National Basketball Association (NBA) and held positions of leadership with companies such as Epsilon, Johnson & Johnson and MediaLink Worldwide.

Osur replaces Randy Smith, previous president and cofounder of ClearSaleing.

ClearSaleing's client list includes American Greetings, Rosetta, Range Online Media and Nationwide Insurance.
