ClearCommerce Debuts Expert Board
An advisory board of e-commerce experts has been established by ClearCommerce, Austin, TX, an online transaction processor. The board will look to promote standards that accelerate the migration of business to online selling and transactions.In October, the board is expected to issue a guide for merchants who are planning their e-commerce strategies. It also will focus on initiatives intended to further the success of e-commerce and resolve market gaps in e-commerce issues such as fraud detection, transaction processing and integration of the Internet sale into current business rules.
The board will be made up of experts from @Home Network, The Chase Manhattan Bank, The e-tailing group, First Data Merchant Services, J. Crew, ZDNet and ClearCommerce.
