Clear Channel Taps WebSideStory for Analytics Work

Clear Channel Radio deployed WebSideStory Inc.'s analytics solution across its network of 1,200 radio station Web sites in 221 markets nationwide, WebSideStory said yesterday.


Clear Channel is using HBX Analytics to measure and analyze visitor activity, including tracking the popularity of audio and video content on each site. Clear Channel Communications, San Antonio, is a global media and entertainment company specializing in radio, television and outdoor displays.


Key to this reporting was WebSideStory's ability to integrate its online visitor behavior information with server information from content and applications delivery provider Akamai Technologies Inc., the company said.
