Clark Campaign Uses Kintera to Build Online Support

Kintera Inc., an online software provider to nonprofits, announced Friday that Wesley Clark's 2004 presidential election campaign team is using Kintera's eMarketing technology to build support for the Democratic candidate.

Kintera, San Diego, is providing the Clark camp outbound e-mail marketing tools and delivering hundreds of thousands of e-mail messages to supporters who opted in to receive e-mail from the campaign.

The primary goal of Clark's e-mail marketing is to publicize recent endorsements and keep supporters aware of news related to the fast-moving campaign. For example, the Clark campaign recently used Kintera's online technology to distribute pop star Madonna's letter of endorsement for the candidate and to generate support for the New Hampshire primary.
