Chicago to Rename Street 'Bob Stone Drive'
The Chicago direct marketing community honors DM pioneer Bob Stone next week, including having a block of one of the city's streets renamed as the honorary "Bob Stone Drive."Stone, 84, author of "Successful Direct Marketing Methods," also will be honored during a dinner Nov. 12 sponsored by the Chicago Association of Direct Marketing. Stone is co-founder of Stone & Adler, which is thought to be the city's first full-service direct marketing agency.
On Nov. 13, CADM will have its Education Day 2002. Speakers include Ron Jacobs, Tony Priore and Susan K. Jones. For more information about the events, go to www.cadm.org.
