E-mail marketing services firm CheetahMail has added Carnival Cruise Lines, Crabtree & Evelyn, InsWeb, Office Depot, Redcats Group and Urban Outfitters to its list of recent client wins.

These retailers have joined the New York based e-mail service provider client roster that includes such retailers as Brooks Brothers, Neiman Marcus and The Discovery Channel, to implement not just e-mail marketing programs, but to tap some of CheetahMail's more advanced tools, such as transactional messaging.

"Most of these clients are looking to use triggered messaging based on transactional information and based on Web analytics," said Rachel Bergman senior vice president of client services at CheetahMail.

CheetahMail is one of a number of e-mail service providers that offer such transactional and Web analytics messaging including StrongMail, Silverpop and Datran Media.

"The clients have a history of e-mail marketing and so they looked a lot deeper than just for a product demonstration," Bergman added.
