CheetahMail Bags New Clients

CheetahMail, the newly acquired subsidiary of database giant Experian, won several new clients for its e-mail marketing services.

The New York company's roster now includes Bass Pro Shops, National Geographic Society, Borders Books & Music, Jackson & Perkins and Harry and David. CheetahMail will deliver and manage customer e-mail for these marketers.

"These wins confirm that e-mail remains an effective communication channel for marketers and reinforce the sophistication and personalization requirements that these marketers expect," CheetahMail spokeswoman Ashley Johnston said.

The new clients want to improve their data capture system to achieve higher e-mail registrations. Other concerns include enhancing online newsletters' performance metrics and ensuring the delivery of e-mails to customer inboxes. CheetahMail also offers reporting and segmentation tools to interpret campaign results.
