Charitygift Debuts Online Fundraising Service
Charitygift, Austin, TX, last month debuted a new service called the Fundraising Registry. The free online service manages the process of raising money by individuals who support a cause or nonprofit organization.A user looking to raise money for a cause can click on the Fundraising Registry icon at the top of the front door on the Charitygift Web site, www.charitygift.com. From there the user can create a personal registry, consisting of special Web pages with messages and pictures highlighting their purpose.
Fundraisers will notify their family, friends and colleagues of their goals and direct them to their password-protected Web registry to either make a direct donation to the selected charity, or to send a Charitygift, which utilizes an e-card or postcard provided by the online service, announcing the donation in honor of the fundraiser.
