CDC Software launches mapping analytics tool

CDC Software has launched an e-marketing tool called CDC MarketFirst GeoAnalytics.

CDC MarketFirst GeoAnalytics allows marketers to view information from the CDC MarketFirst database in a map format. This geographic display was designed to make profiling customers and prospects easier and more intuitive.

The interactive display, developed in partnership with Linxoft Solutions, highlights conditions, trends and patterns by location. Customers and prospects can be segmented by age, population, income, neighborhood, revenue, number of employees and industry, among other factors. Marketers can use this information to plan campaigns and target segments with CDC Marketfirst software.

Marketfirst works with MarketFirst GeoAnalytics by further segmenting data by Web tracks, e-mail responses and profiles. MarketFirst has been used by Sharp Electronics Manufacturing Corporation of America, CareerBuilder and Enterprise Florida, among others.

CDC Software, a subsidiary of Hong Kong-based CDC Corporation, has more than 6,000 users worldwide. Clients are in the manufacturing, financial services, health care, home building, real estate and wholesale and retail distribution industries. Other CDC companies include CDC Mobile, CDC Games and China.com.
