CCG Expects $100 Million in Revenue

Communications Concepts Group, a privately held direct mail production firm, predicts it will generate at least $100 million in revenue this year, a 20 percent increase from 2000.

The company credits the sales jump to its financial services clients such as MetLife and Household Credit Services, which have increased their customer retention and loyalty efforts via direct mail.

"We have seen a decline in some clients' acquisition mailings but have seen a rise in their mailings concerning retention and loyalty strategies," said Don McKenzie, president/CEO.

He said the clients' strategies mirror those of his own company, as it has not increased its marketing efforts dramatically to achieve the revenue increase. Instead, he said, CCG has upgraded the efficiency of its printing technology, allowing it to do direct mail jobs at a faster pace.

CCG houses four divisions at its headquarters in Ivyland, PA, while operating another unit in Downey, CA. The company handles direct mail print production, fulfillment, list management, e-mail marketing, data processing and other services.
