Carphone Warehouse Dials E.piphany

E.piphany Inc., a relationship management solutions provider for consumer-oriented businesses, announced yesterday that The Carphone Warehouse implemented the E.piphany Marketing 6.5 software.


E.piphany, San Mateo, CA, said the solution will support The Carphone Warehouse's customer-centric approach and help deliver more effective marketing campaigns across multiple channels.


The Carphone Warehouse Group PLC, founded in 1989, is Europe's leading independent mobile communications retailer, with 1,200 stores. E.piphany gives the company one integrated view of customers' activities.


Customer communications also will be managed through E.piphany Marketing, reducing marketing costs and boosting the results of targeted and event-driven direct mail and short message service campaigns. E.piphany Marketing replaced the company's outsourced customer communications model.


Phase one of the project involved building a data mart and a data-cleansing environment, which was then integrated with the campaign management solution within E.piphany Marketing. The solution was implemented in four months.
