Carney Wins Court Settlement

List management and brokerage firm Carney Direct Marketing, Irvine, CA, has won a $125,000 settlement in a lawsuit against travel mailer Marketing Response Group & Laser, Tampa, FL, for nonpayment of list rental fees. The judgement ends an 18-month legal proceeding.


"List obligations are legal obligations like anything else and should not be taken for granted,'' Carney president and owner Peter J. Carney said in a prepared statement.
