Carlson Opens Atlanta Outpost

Carlson Marketing created a new Southeast client services region division in Atlanta to handle local-area clients better like The Home Depot, BellSouth and Coca-Cola Co.

Tom Wessling, a 30-year marketing veteran, will lead that office as senior vice president of client services. He held the same title at Carlson's Pacific region office in San Francisco.

Mr. Wessling's replacement in San Francisco is Scott Lochridge, who previously held charge of Carlson 1to1 businesses like Peppers & Rogers and the direct marketing and decision sciences units. He also will oversee the Long Beach, CA, office.

Meanwhile, Janet Sparkman takes over Mr. Lochridge's old job as executive vice president of Carlson 1to1.
