Media services provider Carat USA subsidiary Carat Trade is launching a print division.

The unit is run by Leslie Grand, who becomes the agency's vice president and director of print trade in New York. She not only will launch the print division, she also will oversee print and out-of-home media purchases for Carat Trade.

The growing demand for print services is the main reason Carat Trade launched the division, said Kathy Kladopoulos, executive vice president and managing director for Carat Trade.

Ms. Grand comes to Carat after serving almost a decade at Active International, where she was vice president and print media director. Prior to that, she worked at DKB & Partners and Publicis.
