Cannes Lions Restarts Titanium Lion

The International Advertising Festival, better known as Cannes Lions, relaunched the Titanium Lion as an award for integrated campaigns.


The honor will recognize ad work that achieves creative excellence across a minimum of three communication channels. It is officially called the Titanium Lions for Integrated Campaigns.


Jeff Goodby, co-chairman of Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, has been named jury president of the Titanium Lions. Cannes Lions will announce the 10 fellow jury members in the coming weeks.


The 52nd Cannes Lions will be held June 19-25 in Cannes, France. The advertising competition attracts more than 8,000 visitors and 18,000 ads from around the world. British publisher Emap owns Cannes Lions.
