Campbell-Ewald head to retire

Campbell-Ewald has announced that chairman and CEO Tony Hopp will retire from his leadership role at the end of 2009. He will be replaced by current vice chairman and chief creative and strategic officer Bill Ludwig.

Hopp served for 13 years as head of the Warren, MI-based agency, whose clients include automotive brands Chevrolet and GM as well as AT&T and The US Navy. He will remain a senior advisor to the new leadership team through 2013.
