Call_Solutions Diversifies With Latest Acquisitions

Call_Solutions, a company that has been steadily buying teleservices firms since its formation last year, has diversified its holdings with the purchase of two companies specializing in direct mail and database marketing.


Yesterday Call_Solutions said it had bought database firm Heartland Marketing Group Ltd., Milwaukee. On July 20 Call_Solutions said that it had acquired the direct mail firm Onesource Inc.


Heartland Marketing Group provides database services for nonprofit organizations. The company assists with both telemarketing and direct mail fundraising.


Onesource, Lindon, UT, provides direct mail processing services, print production and fulfillment. Founded in 1996, the company allows clients to submit orders, edit materials and exchange data files through its Web site.


The terms of the purchases were not disclosed. Onesource and Heartland Marketing represent Call_Solution's seventh and eighth acquisitions, respectively, since August 2000.


The company's founder/CEO is George Dalton, former chairman/CEO of data processing and information management systems provider Fiserv, Brookfield, WI. Call_Solutions, Waukesha, WI, has assembled a company with 18 facilities and 1,700 workstations in less than a year.
