Call for Essential Guide submissions

DMNews is seeking submissions for its upcoming 2009 Essential Guide to Lists, Database Marketing and Data Services, which will be published on January 26, 2009.

Lists and databases are key components that drive direct marketing campaigns, and developments in technology and audience behavior mean that this is a truly dynamic area. In this Essential Guide, DMNews will showcase these latest trends through expert opinion and original articles.

Experts from all areas of the direct marketing world are invited to share their knowledge, case studies, trends, best practices and forecasts with DM News ' readership. We will publish articles ranging from the very basics of data compilation and management, through to the advances that technology is bringing to analytics, and insight into various verticals and customer segments that require special strategies and tactics. The articles will be pitched at various levels of expertise and understanding.

To be a part of the Essential Guide, e-mail your 450-word article (the piece must be right around 450 words or it will not be considered) to Sharon Goldman, at features@dmnews.com by December 21. The submissions must be submitted as a Microsoft Word attachment and include the author's name, title and e-mail address. In addition, please send a hi-res color headshot photo. We cannot guarantee inclusion of all articles, and they may be edited.
