Call Center Tech Firm SER Acquires VorTecs
SER Solutions said yesterday it had acquired VorTecs Incorporated, a provider of computer telephony integration and automated call validation, for an undisclosed sum.Dulles, VA-based SER Solutions, formerly EIS International Inc., will integrate VorTecs monitoring and validation technology into its call management systems.
VorTechs has also developed speech-recognition technology that allows call center operators to perform high-speed audio searches of recorded customer interactions, transforming it into retrievable data.
