Cable & Wireless to Offer Vipro's Virus Service Plan
Vipro Corp., Fairfax, VA, late last month announced that its Virus Service Plan will be offered as a value-added subscriber benefit for Cable & Wireless North America's Virtual ISP program. According to Vipro, this program makes Cable & Wireless the first Internet service provider to include this customer benefit as a core enhancement.The plan covers consumers and small-business owners from the cost of computer virus damage and includes Norton AntiVirus software, online and telephone technical support and access to Vipro's network of more than 4,000 local repair centers.
