Cabela's Deploys Coremetrics

Online marketing analytics company Coremetrics, Burlingame, CA, said yesterday that Cabela's has deployed Web analytics from Coremetrics to provide detailed analysis of online customer and visitor behavior for the Cabela's Web site.


Cabela's, Sidney, NE, is one of the world's largest mail-order, retail and Internet outdoors outfitters.


Using Coremetrics Online Analytics 2004, Cabela's expects to improve site usability by analyzing click-stream behaviors to determine how different segments of customers navigate the company's Web site.


Cabela's also will marry live profile data from Coremetrics with retail and catalog information inside its internal data warehouse. As a result, each department at Cabela's will gain access to a single customer profile with comprehensive multichannel activity.
