Buzz Brandeis Retires From Euro RSCG 4D

Alvin "Buzz" Brandeis, director of human resources at Euro RSCG 4D Chicago, retires Nov. 12 after 15 years at the direct marketing agency.

Brandeis, 85, is a World War II veteran and former boxer. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946 at home and in Europe, where he guarded German prisoners of war.

At 70 he closed his direct mail merchandising business, but was not ready for retirement. He joined Barry Blau & Associates, now Euro RSCG 4D.

He plans to move to California.

The last 10 months of Brandeis' career at Euro RSCG 4D Chicago were busy. The agency has grown from 90 employees to 140 and is hiring more.

Euro RSCG 4D's clients include AARP, Shell Oil, Guinness, Citigroup, Sprint, U.S. Bank, Sears, Roebuck and Co., National City, Pizza Hut and United Health Group. France's Havas Advertising owns Euro RSCG 4D and its New York-based parent, Euro RSCG Worldwide.
