Buy.com Boosts Electronics Offering 300 Percent

Retail site Buy.com said yesterday that it has increased the number of consumer electronics it offers by 300 percent because of a recent deal with electronics wholesaler DBL Distributing.


Financial terms of the deal were not announced.


DBL Distributing, Scottsdale, AZ, offers electronics from more than 50 categories. Buy.com, Aliso Viejo, CA, has reported more than 3.5 million customers since it was founded in 1997.


"Our customers rely upon us to offer the broadest selection of today's most popular consumer electronics products," said Brent Rusick, senior vice president of technology and operations. "DBL Distributing significantly enhances our consumer electronics mix with a complete assortment of brand-name accessories and related products."
