Burger King Picks DraftWorldwide

DraftWorldwide, one of the leading direct marketing agencies in the United States, has been named to handle promotions for Burger King Corp.'s local and international businesses.


Seven agencies competed for the Burger King business, though only two -- DraftWorldwide and Alcone Marketing Group -- made the final round. Alcone retains its status as premium manufacturing agency of record.


The Chicago agency will handle merchandising and promotions for the fast-food company. In allied responsibilities, DraftWorldwide will also handle strategic planning, point-of-purchase material, field services and calendar planning. Work commences next month, starting with on-air creative.
