Brokaw to Headline DMA Fall Show

"NBC Nightly News" anchor Tom Brokaw will give the keynote address at the Direct Marketing Association's 86th annual conference in Orlando, FL, on Oct. 13, the DMA said yesterday.

Brokaw, who joined NBC News in 1966, will share his insight on the economy and how domestic and international political events will affect the business environment, the DMA said.

Brokaw has received seven Emmy awards and a Peabody Award. He also has written three books: "The Greatest Generation," "The Greatest Generation Speaks" and "An Album of Memories."

The DMA also said it will bring back the digital print pavilion at this year's show. The conference is Oct. 11-15 at the Orange County Convention Center.
