BroadVision, Siebel Systems Form Partnership

Personalized e-business applications vendor BroadVision Inc., Redwood City, CA and Siebel Systems Inc., San Mateo, CA, a customer relationship management solutions provider, this week announced a strategic alliance that will integrate BroadVision's personalized e-business applications with Siebel Front Office applications.


According to both companies, the partnership will enable BroadVision and Siebel Systems to rapidly and cost effectively deploy highly personalized e-business applications that seamlessly share customer information with their sales, marketing and customer service information systems.


The partnership will integrate BroadVision One-To-One and Siebel Front Office Applications, so when a user interacts with a BroadVision-powered Web site, the customer information captured in BroadVision is automatically combined with information captured in Siebel Front Office Applications. As a result, sales professionals, for example, can automatically cross-sell and up-sell related products; marketing professionals can create personalized campaigns to alert customers to promotions and special offers; and customer service representatives can instantly offer relevant service packages.
