Broadbase Software Buys Aperio

Broadbase Software Inc., Menlo Park, CA, a provider of analytic and marketing infrastructure applications, said yesterday it entered into an agreement to acquire Aperio Inc., a provider of e-commerce marketing solutions.


Natick, MA-based Aperio works with Fortune 1000 companies to maximize their marketing strategies and effectively manage customer lifecycles. Under the terms of the agreement, Broadbase will issue approximately 270,000 shares of Broadbase common stock in exchange for all outstanding common stock of Aperio and assume all outstanding options to purchase Aperio's common stock.
