Broadbase, Intershop Adapt Application

Broadbase Software, Menlo Park, CA, a provider of customer-focused analytic and marketing automation applications, and Intershop Communications, San Francisco, last month announced the immediate availability of an adapter that enables rapid integration of Intershop's Enfinity application with Broadbase's e-marketing and real-time personalization capabilities.

With the integration of Broadbase, Intershop Enfinity users are provided with several hundred best-practice and ready-to-use metrics that serve as the platform to provide intelligent, ongoing and automated customer interactions. The integration also will automate the process of data extraction and transformation because it integrates online consumers' personal data in the Enfinity database with a wealth of customer and visit-related click-through data stored in the Web log and in the Enfinity-specific session log. Broadbase's analytic and e-marketing applications make it possible to identify and analyze customer characteristics, making it possible to offer the best products to the best customers.
