Broadband Provider Joins Dot-TV Craze

Artel, Marlborough, MA, a broadband digital provider, on Friday launched its new Web site, www.artel.tv, in an attempt to attract attention to its newest digital television product, Cross Stream 155.

The Cross Stream 155 technology enables the transport of rich-media-laden digital television over networks used by cable television companies and telecommunication service providers.

The company shifted to the .tv domain to alert its users about its focus on the digital television and rich media market. In the past six months, more than 100,000 .tv names have been registered worldwide.
