Breath Mint Site Hopes Naked Postcard Draws Viewers

Christmasmint.com, a seasonal Web site for Oregon Mint Co., has launched a provocative electronic and offline postcard campaign to drive people to the site.

The postcards feature an unclothed woman adorned with Christmas ornaments and was developed by AngryAdvertising.com, New York.

The Oregon Mint e-cards are available on a button at Yahoo.com, where the mint company hopes to see a viral campaign emerge. Physical versions of the cards are being distributed at kiosks in bars, clubs, hotels, bookstores and health clubs in New York, Denver, San Francisco and the South Beach section of Miami.

Oregon Mint makes breath mints designed to help smokers and smokeless tobacco users quit their tobacco habits. Its sites at www.christmasmint.com and www.oregonmint.com sell the mints direct and offer information on stores where the product can be found.

The e-cards and postcards accompany a billboard campaign launched in New York last month that asks, "Got Lungs?"
