Boston.com Allies With Pile and Co. for Agency Listing

Boston.com, a New York Times Digital news and information portal for the New England area, has joined with advertising consultant Pile and Co.'s Agency ComPile division to launch a free listing of marketing agencies on the Internet.

The listing includes profiles of advertising, interactive, public relations, direct marketing, sales and promotion and design agencies. Users can go to boston.com/agencysearch and search shops based on billings or fees, core capability, location and industry experience.

"It targets the media-buying audience," said Donna Rice, director of sales at Boston.com, Boston. "I also recognize there's an awful lot of clients and small businesses that go through our online media kit."

Agencies participating in the listings include Hill, Holiday, Connors, Cosmopulos; Leo Burnett Technology Group; Cronin and Co.; Holland Mark Advertising; Arnold Worldwide; and Mullen Advertising.

Boston.com is the online home of The Boston Globe, a New York Times Co. newspaper.
