Boeing Selects PeopleSoft CRM

Connexion by Boeing, a business unit of the aerospace company, has selected PeopleSoft's customer relationship management solution for its broadband data communications service operations, PeopleSoft said.

Connexion by Boeing provides real-time, high-speed broadband connectivity to commercial, private and government aircraft during flight. The company is using a number of CRM modules from PeopleSoft, Pleasanton, CA, to manage its customer service operations. For example, it will use PeopleSoft CRM HelpDesk to track and manage system component operational status.

It also will use the PeopleSoft CRM Support module that automates day-to-day processes for the customer care agent, such as providing access to caller histories, interactive scripts for multiple customer interchange scenarios and better tracking of inquiries. PeopleSoft CRM Warehouse capabilities will provide tactical and strategic visibility into the Connexion by Boeing service operations.

Additional CRM applications will be phased in to augment data management and reporting capabilities, the company said.

The first phase of deployment is expected to be complete in the second quarter.
