Bob Zurek has been named Epsilon's SVP of products, said Epsilon president Andy Frawley, to whom Zurek will report. Zurek's new position was created to provide product marketing and alternate strategies, and he will oversee 200 to 300 people.

Zurek's responsibilities will include product marketing, as well as client operations specific to certain products, according to the release. Frawley added that Zurek will “focus on how we take technology that we have and invest innovatively.”

Frawley said that Epsilon had recently “been increasing investments in the building of products, repurposing of technologies, and extending all products."

According to Frawley, Epsilon “considered internal options, but we've invested in a lot historically and Bob is the best choice.”  Epsilon used a recruiter to hire Zurek, who previously worked for Endeca as the VP of technical product strategy. Zurek also served as VP of products and CTO at EnterpriseDB and Infobright.
