Boats.com, eBay Plan Marine Products Auction Site
Viewers can get a preview of the site by logging on to a theme page created by the firms at www.ebay.com/theme/boating.html. Boat sellers also can begin to list for-sale items by visiting Boats.com's dealer page, www.boats.com/dealers.
Boats.com expects its 75 marine manufacturer partners to use the new site. In addition, the agreement will provide boats.com and its dealer/broker partners with the chance to market to eBay's 22 million registered users.
Financial terms of the agreement between Boats.com, San Francisco, and eBay, San Jose, CA, were not disclosed.
