Blockbuster and InMotion Team to Rent DVD Players to Air Travelers

Blockbuster Inc., based in Dallas, and InMotion Pictures, which rents state-of-the-art portable DVD players in airports, signed a multi-year licensing agreement yesterday.

The agreement will allow airline travelers to rent a portable player, DVD movie and stereo headphones for $10 a day; additional movies are $4 a day.

The players and movies can be returned at any InMotion Pictures location.

InMotion will feature the Blockbuster name on all of its locations, and Blockbuster will hold an equity interest in the Jacksonville, FL-based company.
