Blinkx signs content agreement with Turning Point TV

Blinkx , a video search engine , has signed a content agreement with Turning Point TV, an on-demand video network aimed at active baby boomers.

Under the terms of the agreement, blinkx will transcribe and index Turning Point TV's footage, allowing users to find clips at www.blinkx.com.

Blinkx has indexed more than 12 million hours of video and audio content, including top television shows, news, short documentaries and music from more than 150 partners. It uses speech recognition technology for ensuring the accuracy of its results.
