Blair Will Market Apparel on ShopNBC

Apparel marketer Blair Corp. agreed to display its products on home shopping network ShopNBC, catalog and Internet retailer Blair said yesterday.


Warren, PA-based Blair's Crossing Pointe and Jane Seymour spring 2003 collections will appear on ShopNBC this month. Blair said it plans to preview its Women's 2003 Summer apparel line on ShopNBC in March as well.


ShopNBC agreed to produce and air five DRTV shows featuring Blair apparel. The first, the one-hour Crossing Pointe Fashion Show, debuts at 6 p.m. Jan. 30 and features Crossing Pointe merchandise director Kathy Parigian as host.


The Crossing Pointe show launch coincides with the mailing of its spring 2003 catalog.


Jane Seymour, who is fashion designer of her own Signature Collection, will appear on the fashion show twice, at 7 p.m. Feb. 6 and 6 p.m. Feb. 19, to promote her apparel.


Blair and ShopNBC will cooperate on promoting the show to audiences, including an e-mail campaign to ShopNBC customers, advertising on the ShopNBC network and print ads in the ShopNBC program guide.


Financial details of the arrangement were not disclosed.
